In an official announcement, the president of Kombat Taekwondo, Rick Shin, confirmed that in May and August the Grand Prix will be held in Brazil and Argentina respectively.
The American company that everyone is already talking about at a global level, officially disembarks with its franchise in Brazil and Argentina. Proof of this is the announcement recently made by its president and founder, Rick Shin.
Kombat Taekwondo made its official debut in Bogota, Colombia, at the end of last year, with a live broadcast of more than three hours by ESPN and Star+, an event from which a ten-episode reality show was also produced, something that marked the beginning of a new era for our discipline.
For this 2024, professional fighters are already being selected, but at the same time a very attractive calendar for the different leagues is already presented:
– Minor League: 11 to 17 years old.
– Major League: over 18 years old.
– Professional League.
Among the news presented in the press release, Shin highlights the following:
“We will soon get in touch with the selected professional Kombat Taekwondo fighters to call them for the next KT Professional.
On the other hand, we have Preliminary Championships scheduled for May in Brazil and August in Argentina. Those who are not selected for these Professional League Preliminary Championships are invited to do so voluntarily at the Kombat Taekwondo Grand Prix Championships in May and August 2024.”
