Almost 200 aspiring referees of the brand new Kombat Taekwondo franchise attended a virtual seminar given by renowned international referee Marcelo Rezende from Brazil.

Although the seminar was intended for the Minor and Major League, topics relevant to the Professional League were also discussed.

Brazil promises to be one of the ideal ecosystems for the development of Kombat Taekwondo; the dimension of the country, the number of population and the passion that exists for combat sports, already position this territory as one of the most interested and participative.

During the premiere of the Professional League in Bogota, where eight fights were disputed, three of them were starred by Brazilian fighters.

During the seminar, Marcelo Rezende introduced the company’s president, Rick Shin, who once again highlighted the need to create true sports idols within Taekwondo, something that is undoubtedly a pending matter for the Korean discipline and one of the main objectives of Kombat Taekwondo, “to take its protagonists to a level they have never been at.”
