Since its announcement, Kombat Taekwondo brand has been growing steadily and generating a lot of expectation within the international community of modern martial arts.

This week the company signed a London 2012 Olympic medalist who will fight on the first prime night, December 3 in Bogota, Colombia.

He is Óscar Múñoz, who has demonstrated his ability to push his body to the limit and come out on top in the face of adversity. Muñoz represented Colombia for many years. Among the most outstanding events are the World Junior Championships in Tijuana 2010, Youth Olympic Games in Singapore 2010, bronze at the London 2012 and Rio 2016 Olympic Games.

In addition, he is highly recognized in his country for having participated in the reality show Desafío, of Caracol TV in 2018, a competition he won.

About Kombat Taekwondo

This is a professional Taekwondo league that awards in this first edition a prize of US$3,000 to the winner of each fight, as well as US$1,000 to the loser.

There is only one fight per night per category and the athletes have all their expenses paid. The combat modalities are: 1 vs 1 and 2 vs 2.

In the individual fights the contestants face each other in full contact for a 5-minute round, while the team fights consist of a 10-minute round where all four fighters are facing each other at the same time.
