Since its inception, the Argentina Open has blossomed into seven memorable editions. The first five were held at Costa Salguero, a venue that witnessed the steady growth of this event. The sixth presentation made history by moving to the picturesque city of Mar del Plata, while the last one found its home in Tecnópolis, an impressive science and technology mega-exhibition in the heart of Argentina.

The seventh version of the Argentina Open had more than one hundred people committed to its organization, making it an event that will mark a before and after in the history of this championship. Mario Mandel, Secretary General of the Pan American Taekwondo Union (PATU), expressed his joy and surprise to see how this G1 has evolved.

“IT IS IMPORTANT TO TELL ALL THE REPRESENTATIVES OF SOUTH AMERICA, THAT WE ARE WORKING VERY HARD SO THAT TAEKWONDO IN THE REGION CONTINUES TO GROW”.
