With more than 750 participants from 22 countries, the three educational courses that will be held from January 25 to 27 in the city of Querétaro were officially launched, and will have activities in the modalities of Poomsae, Kyorugi and Refereeing.

After the successful seminar for new Poomsae referees, the refresher course, and the practice for coaches of the discipline, the three courses organized by the Panamerican Taekwondo Union looking after the integral growth of pan-american family were officially launched.

“One of our fundamental pillars in the Panamerican Taekwondo Union is education and being able to count on the unconditional support of the Sports and Recreation Institute of the State of Queretaro, through Iridia Salazar and all her team, allows us to materialize the ideas that contribute to the development of Taekwondo in our region. On this occasion covering the modalities of Poomsae, Kyorugi and Refereeing with great specialists for each of the areas”, commented the LAE Juan Manuel Lopez president of PATU.

During these three days full of activities, in the Poomsae area, Grand Master Raymond Hsu from the United States will be the speaker, in the Kyorugi modality, the speakers will be coaches Carla Bacco from Canada, Enmanuel Mateo from Dominican Republic, and Arlen Gonzalez from Cuba. For the referee course, the speakers will be Axel Sanchez from Puerto Rico, Eric Wah from Canada and Araceli Ornelas from Mexico.

The calendar of activities will conclude with the awaited second edition of the Gala Dinner that honors the best of the 2023 and the induction into the Hall of Fame, on January 28.
