En el campeonato se podrá participar en las modalidades de poomsae y en combate, donde además de las categorías mundialistas absolutas se podrá competir en divisiones infantiles, cadetes, juveniles y seniors. El sistema de PSS que se utilizará será el de la firma Daedo.
De esta forma la Federación Costarricense de Taekwondo nuevamente se prepara para recibir a las decenas de delegaciones provenientes de todo el mundo, quienes arribarán hasta este paraíso terrenal buscando perfeccionarse y competir en un evento de primer nivel.
