The 2020 GCS International Convention will take place in Seoul, Korea on December 4, 2020.

The annual GCS event will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. Korean time on December 4 at the World Taekwondo headquarters in Seoul in both on- and off-line formats.

The 2020 GCS International Convention was scheduled to take place in Chiang Mai, Thailand on November 13, 2020, but the COVID-19 forced rescheduling of the event.

In strict compliance with the COVID-19 guidelines, the upcoming annual convention is expected to attract less than 50 people in Seoul, including GCS International President Chungwon Choue, GCS International Secretary General Seok-jae Kang, GCS Korea Chapter President Huh Jong and GCS International board members, while members of some 50 GCS International national chapters around the world will join the event via a Zoom system.

Coming December 4th, GCS will hold its annual meeting, the one that was scheduled to be held in Thailand will now take place on Seoul, Korea, due to COVID pandemic. GCS Thailand and Portland chapters will be in charge of the organization.

GCS International will organize the event in cooperation with the GCS Thailand Chapter and the GCS Portland, USA Chapter.

During the 2-hour-long convention, each GCS national chapter is scheduled to make a presentation on their respective GCS activities.

The 2019 GCS International Convention took place at Chosun University in Gwangju, Korea on September 21, 2019, drawing about 2,000 people, including some 1,100 members of the GCS Global Taekwondo Peace Corps Korea.
