This September 26, GCS International held the first Virtual Seminar, organized by Portland Chapter, in which more than 23 countries participated, on the lecture of Dr. David Jeong, World Taekwondo Medical Chairman, about the COVID prevention education.

During these difficult times, the will to help less privileged is the main goal of GCS International, an NGO chaired by Dr. Chungwon Choue, under Dr. Young Seek Choue legacy.

“On behalf of Dr. Choue I want to thank all GCS family for the great support for the cause, stay together as a big family is the most important thing during these difficult times, take care of each other, and have this unique opportunity to learn about prevention of COVID, is a useful tool that will help us all to make it through it”, stated GCS International Secretary General Dr. Seok-Jae Kang, who also serves as senior consultant for World Taekwondo Cares Program and Vice President of the Asia Journalists Association.

With the masterful presentation of Dr. David Jeong of more than an hour and opportunity to solve doubts, the seminar provided education and strategies to prevent the spread of COVID-19, and different actions to stay away of it.

Through the participation of seminars, and donation, participants will be able to qualify to win the Presidential Award. This is a prestigious humanitarian award, granted to individuals who demonstrate awareness towards current global crisis through the GCS online education movement, and for their voluntary services in building a Global Common Society.
